Christmas is a comin' and the goose is gettin' fat please put $500 pesos in a Child's Pack.  If you haven't got $500 pesos, $250 pesos will do and if you haven't got $250 pesos then God Bless you!

 Each year we take the kids from all three orphanages out on a pre-christmas shopping spree.  We start collecting money in October.  We need $41500 pesos, not so much.

You can deposit the money directly into INtercam contract number 4087 in the name of Suzanne Paris or drop the cash off at La Conexion to be rung-up on the cash register under dept. number 20.  Thank you so much for making Christmas special for these under privileged children.

This gives each kid $500 pesos to spend on a new outfit, something warm and something sweet.  No, I don't think $500 pesos is too much, most of the time the shopping volunteers have to add a little to be able to buy a complete outfit.

This year Bob Allen (OUR HERO) donated a backpack to each child.  We have put their names on each backpack and are hanging them in all three of our La Conexion offices.

The event happens in two parts.  First we collect the money and second we will have the shopping spree.  Volunteers pick their child's back pack and then go to the orpanage and get their kid with their own money and  . . . SHOP UNTIL YOU DROP!
